Britton Maritime appoints new Chief Executive

Britton Maritime Systems has recently appointed a new CEO, Samantha Britton, to the company. Samantha has been with BMS for over 18 years and has been our Chief Operations Officer for the past 10 years. The appointment aims to usher in a generational change in the company and to continue the excellent products and services delivered by BMS. “I am proud to be one of the few female CEOs leading a small business in the marine industry’.

Samantha will step into the role of Chief Executive and Operations, continuing to provide high-level oversight and strategic direction for the company. Samantha is also currently studying for a Diploma of Law and is also the Chair of ShireBiz, a local organisation that advocates for industries in the Sutherland Shire.

Existing CEO, Steve Britton, will continue within the company as both our Chairman and Business Development Director. ‘As the existing Chief Operations Officer, Samantha has been right at the heart of everything we have done, her deep knowledge of our business and our industry makes this transition feel like a natural step’.
